As a trauma therapist, I use a combination of therapeutic modalities in order to achieve the best emotional regulation and health. Some of those commonly used in my practice are Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor, IFS, Polyvagal, Bilateral Stimulation methods, and Mindfulness and Grounding practices. As we work together, I will utilize the tools I think best suit your situation, both currently and when discussing past history. I don't believe that a specialist needs to adhere to one form of therapeutic technique - there is value in therapeutic flexibility. |
